Canoe Stories Festival 2024 is the culmination of Flight’s year-long collaboration with JP Longboat and the people of Prince Edward County: a magical evening launching of Longboat’s Spirit Canoes, with oration by Zoey Roy and live songs and drumming by Nimkii Osawamik and singers.

Flight Festival is born from our dream to cultivate a dynamic presence for contemporary dance in Prince Edward County, a beautiful rural setting on the shores of Lake Ontario.
Flight Festival’s essence is a connection through education, community engagement and performance.
